<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device capable of reducing operating force for fitting, without using power boosting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A preload member 29 holding an elastic tongue piece 21 each of female terminals 18a, b in a deflected state is mounted in a female connector 10, and a thrusting part 33 thrusting and making retreat the preload member 29 when fitted to the female connector 10 is arranged at a male connector 28. When the male connector 28 is completed to be fitted into the female connector 10, the preload member 29 moves toward a position where the elastic tongue piece is exposed, and a conductive part of a flat conductor 32 contacts the elastic tongue piece 21 in place of the preload member. Although the male connector 28 makes the preload member 29 retreat, in a state in which the elastic force of the elastic tongue piece 21 has acted on the preload member, since it is a sliding contact between the pre-load member 29 made of resin and the elastic tongue piece 21 made of metal during the time, in comparison with the sliding contact between metal fittings, frictional force is low, and the operating force for fitting can be reduced by that amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
