PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater element capable of simply fitting an electrode part for supplying electricity to a conductive thin film formed on a transparent substrate and preventing heat generation in the electrode part. SOLUTION: The heater element 1 is formed by laminating the transparent substrate 2 having the conductive thin film 3 formed on a back surface 2a and a transparent plate 4 faced to the conductive thin film 3, two frame side spacers 5, 5 arranged at the prescribed intervals and two holding frames 10, 10 arranged along the frame side spacers 5, 5 are interposed between the transparent substrate 2 and the transparent plate 4, the electrode part 20 is interposed between each of holding frames 10, 10 and the conductive thin film 3, and by supplying electricity to the conductive thin film 3 through the electrode part 20, the conductive thin film 3 generates heat.
