MOBILE PHONE, AZIMUTH DETECTION METHOD OF MOBILE PHONE, AND MOBILE PHONE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately know a relation of the true north and the direction of a screen of a mobile phone even if the mobile phone is carried to anywhere. SOLUTION: A compass 11 detects an angle to a horizontal component of the magnetic north of a mobile phone 1. A communication network 2 holds deflection angle information of each of areas and transmits the information to the mobile phone 1. A communication CPU 12 receives deflection angle information 14 from the communication network 2 and delivers the information to an application CPU 13. The application CPU 13 adds the declination angle information 14 and a direction 15 of the screen of the phone outputted by the compass 11 to determine an angle of the horizontal component in the direction of the screen of the phone to the true north.
