PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation-coated electric component for facilitating a conduction work and excellent in terms of heat resistance without having a problem of cost increase. SOLUTION: An insulation coating covering a component body having a conductive surface is formed of a composite resin comprising an epoxy resin, a silicone resin, and an epoxy resin hardening agent. When it is assumed that a chemical equivalent weight of the epoxy resin and a chemical equivalent weight of the silicone resin each of which is obtained by dividing an average molecular weight by a functional group are x and y, respectively, the composite resin is prepared by mixing them at a value of a ratio of the weight of the epoxy resin to that of the silicone resin which exceeds x/y; and a silicone denaturation rate of the epoxy resin in the constituent is 5-30%. The insulation coating is in a half-hardened state by being heated to a predetermined temperature for a predetermined period, and in a tack-free or non-fused state in a range from room temperature to 80°C, has a melting point at which the component body is melted so as to be shorted to another conductive part in heating it for soldering or welding it to the other conductive part, and is regularly hardened when heated with a heat quantity exceeding a heat quantity for soldering or welding it to the other conductive part.
