PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of lock, in relation to a connector having an imperfect-fitting prevention function. SOLUTION: To a male housing 30, a slider 50 movable along the longitudinal direction and a compression coil spring 70 capable of storing biasing force with retreat of the slider 50 by being pushed in by a female housing 10 in a fitting process are attached. The slider 50 is provided with an arm holding part 52 for restricting elastic displacement of a lock arm 31 in an unlocking direction when both the housings 10 and 30 are regularly fitted to each other and for permitting the elastic displacement of the lock arm 31 in the unlocking direction in a process for fitting and separating both the housings 10 and 30. The arm holding part 52 is provided with an arm evacuation part 57, and part of the elastically-displaced lock arm 31 is housed in the arm evacuation part 57. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
