PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively control offsetting of each belt member in a fixing device wherein belt members tensed by rollers are pressed against each other. SOLUTION: The fixing device has a fixing belt module 61 and a pressurizing belt module 62 which has a pressurizing belt pressed in a lap state against a fixing belt, and one of the fixing belt module 61 and pressurizing belt module 62 is equipped with a belt offsetting control means of controlling offsetting of one of the fixing belt 614 and pressurizing belt 620 in a direction orthogonal to rotating directions of the fixing belt 61 and pressurizing belt 620.
