PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen capable of easily enhancing the contrast of an image projected by a front type projector. SOLUTION: The screen is provided with a driving part 101 arranged in a matrix state on a plane, and the driving part 101 is driven so that the intensity of light advancing in a prescribed direction, that is, toward an observer, can be changed in accordance with the intensity of light incident on the driving part 101. The driving part 101 is provided with a reflection part for reflecting the light incident on the driving part 101, and by moving the reflection part in accordance with the intensity of the light incident on the driving part 101, the intensity of the light reflecting in the prescribed direction, that is, toward the observer is changed.
