PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an inexpensive titania nanotube having a long fiber length. SOLUTION: The production method for titania nanotube comprises preparing a reaction vessel 10 having no agitation means for agitating the inside of a reaction chamber 13, and performing a hydrothermal treatment while rotating the reaction vessel 10 in which a granular titanium-containing material is charged in the reaction chamber 13 around a horizontal axial center.
