PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest capable of appropriately supporting the head of an occupant with a simple constitution when an impact is applied to a car body. SOLUTION: This headrest 1 is mounted on the upper part of a vehicle seat S via stays 11 and formed by positioning the free end sides of the stays 11 in the vehicle seat S, a back frame 2a of the vehicle seat S is provided with a receiving member 30 supporting the stays 11 when the impact is applied to the headrest 1, and the receiving member 30 is provided with a fixed part 31 fixed to the back frame 2a and a main deformation part 32 integrally formed with the fixed part 31 and collidable with the free ends of the stays 11.
