PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image acquisition method to execute a radiation photographing, to transmit the radiation image data, to confirm a photographing condition at a destination of the transmission and to enable the improvement of the whole through put without wasting the transmission even when the photographing is determined to be improper and another photographing is required, a radiation image acquisition apparatus and a computer program for a radiation image display. SOLUTION: The radiation image acquisition method is employed to irradiate a subject with the radiation to detect the radiation which penetrates the subject, acquire the radiation image data on the basis of the detection result, produce a reduced image data on the basis of the radiation image data, transmit the reduced image data, receive the transmitted reduced image data to display the reduced image, transmit the confirmed result information after the photographing condition is confirmed with the displayed reduced image, and execute the transmission of the radiation image data on the basis of the transmitted confirmed result information.
