The system for feeding packages of drugs from a hopper into an automatic dispensing system comprises a sloping conveyor (7) fitted with supports which lifts groups of packages (2) from a tray (6), into which the hopper is emptied. The packages are passed by a transverse conveyor (8) to a separating unit (3) consisting of two conveyors (10, 11) separated by a chute (R). A final conveyor (4) passes them to the automatic dispensing system. An independent claim is included for a method for feeding packages of drugs from a hopper into an automatic dispensing system.
