A run-flat tire having crescent cross-sectioned reinforcement rubber layers (9) that are arranged at side wall sections (2), an annular protrusion section (10) that protrudes from at least either of bead sections (1) outward in the width direction of the tire and has an inner periphery side surface (11) facing an outer periphery side curved surface of a rim flange (8a) when a specified rim is attached, a ridge section (23) that rises, relative to the run-flat tire with an annular bead (1b) provided in the annular protrusion section (10), to the tire inner periphery side while continuing from the inner periphery side surface (11) of the annular protrusion section (10) to the outer side in the width direction of the tire and has an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the rim flange (8a), and a soft rubber layer (15) that is provided in the ridge section (23) and has a corner (16) pointy toward the inner periphery side of the tire.
