<p>In an internal speed change hub (10) for a bicycle, power is transmitted from a drive body (21) through a second one-way clutch (51) to a ring gear (43) at the time of speed change to increase speed, where speed change operation is performed without requiring a clutch member (45). At the time of speed change to decrease speed, a speed change key (49) movably provided on a hub shaft (21) is applied to a cam surface (47) of the clutch member (45), so rotation driving force transmitted to the clutch member (45) is converted into assist force in the axial direction of the clutch member (45), and the clutch member (45) is operated by utilizing the rotation driving force even when release resistance of the clutch member (45) or a first one-way clutch (50) is large.</p> |
