<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing and obtaining a heparin-like substance having anticoagulative activity from a marine organism and the heparin-like substance obtained by this method and provide an anticoagulant agent by using the heparin-like substance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing a heparin-like substance originating from sea squirt comprises the two steps: the step (a) where glycosaminoglycan is collected by using the internal organ, body walls, or body surface mucosal layer of sea squirt as raw material and the step (b) where the heparin-like substance is isolated from the glycosaminoglycan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
