<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus preventing the generation of an image flow at the time of restarting image forming operation. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: a photoreceptor drum 11; a charging roll 12; an ROS 13; a rotary developing device 14; a primary transfer bias roll 26; and a drum cleaner 15 constituted of a cleaning blade 15a and a rotary brush 15b, and is also provided with an environment detection means for detecting environmental information in the image forming apparatus. On the basis of the environmental information detected by the environment detection means at the time of restarting image forming operation, the rotary developing device 14 supplies a toner band of prescribed quantity to the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11, and after supplying the toner band, the photoreceptor drum 11 is rotated one rotation or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
