<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive original plate of a planographic printing plate for an infrared laser which has excellent chemical resistance and wide development latitude. <P>SOLUTION: The original plate of the planographic printing plate contains (A) a polymer having a structure unit denoted by general formula (1); (B) a light heat conversion agent; and (C) an amine compound having a methyol group or an alkoxy methyl group on a support, and includes a positive recording layer improving dissolubility to an alkali developer due to exposure or heating.
