PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a light emitting element which enables a long durable lifetime of an organic substance used on the substrate, which is manufactured by a low cost and which has high electric conductivity and especially to make for using of standard type PEDOT solvent to become possible.

SOLUTION: The substrate for the light emitting element includes a base substrate 1, a layer structure 2 arranged on the base substrate 1 and configured from a metal, and a layer structure 3 of a conductive polymer arranged on the layer structure 2 configured from the metal.
