<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing/adsorbing agent which can be produced safely and exhibits excellent performance when not only an amphoteric sulfur-based gas but also a basic gas or an acidic gas is removed. <P>SOLUTION: This deodorizing/adsorbing agent comprises a ammonium bromide-deposited porous carrier.
