PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input/output device that is easy to miniaturize and that receives color separation image data for a plurality of colors and outputs the data after processing. SOLUTION: The input/output device includes four information processing circuits 410-440 of the same circuit configuration, each of which receives in accordance with instructions from an imaging device the color separation image data for each of a plurality of sets of colors from one of a plurality of data suppliers that corresponds to the instructions, with each of the sets consisting of one or more of a plurality of colors, and each of which processes the color separation image data in either a first mode for receiving and processing color separation image data with a relatively large number of bits or a second mode for receiving and processing color separation image data with a relatively small number of bits, the four information processing circuits being encased in respective packages.
