PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized contact lens cleaning device capable of removing organic matter and unwanted bacterium sticking on surfaces of a contact lens and present in it. SOLUTION: A contact lens holder 4 holding the contact lens 5 and a couple of diamond chemical electrodes 2a and 2b for applying an electric field to the contact lens 5 from both sides are provided in a contact lens storage container 7, and the couple of diamond chemical electrodes 2a and 2b are connected to a power source part 6. A gas discharge hole 8 for discharging gas produced during a treatment to the outside is formed at an upper part of the storage container 1. While the contact lens 5 is held by the lens holder 4, the contact lens 5 is arranged between the diamond chemical electrodes 2a and 2b and after a treating solution 3 is put in the storage container 1, a DC or AC voltage is applied between the diamond chemical electrodes 2a and 2b from the power source part 6.
