PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a situation-adaptive service coordination apparatus capable of creating the working space most suitable for performing cooperative work using a variety of devices even while achieving flexibility, openness, and decentralization. SOLUTION: The situation-adaptive service coordination apparatus 50 includes a service detection means 71 disposed in a working area for detecting a working space where there are devices serving as service piers that are in communication with one another through a pure pier-to-pier network and for reporting the position of this service space to each of the service piers; a service providing means 31 for disclosing a service connection interface on a network and providing services via the network; a service retrieval means 32 for detecting the services recognized to exist in the same time zone and in the same working space; and a service coordinating means 33 for coordinating the services detected by the service retrieval means 32.
