PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of parts and use the space at the back of an instrument panel efficiently while a stress concentration on a steering support beam in the event of vehicle collision is avoided and facilitate adjustment of the impact absorbed condition. SOLUTION: An energy absorption part consists in an energy absorbing division 9 formed with a greater section than the other divisions in an air-conditioner duct 6 arranged on the reverse surface of the instrument panel 1 and extending approximately to the left and right, and the front surface of the energy absorbing division 9 of the air-conditioning duct 6 is abutted to the steering support beam 5.
