PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assist device which easily makes a vehicle parallel with respect to a parking frame by presenting information on the degree of inclination of the vehicle to a parking frame. SOLUTION: The parking assist device has recognition means S14, S16 for recognizing a target parking position from an image taken by a camera, an estimation means S20 for estimating the target parking position from the target parking position recognized in the past, steering angle of the vehicle, history of wheel speed when the target parking position is not recognized from the image, calculation means S24, S34 for calculating the degree of inclination of the vehicle with respect to an estimated target parking position and combination display means S24, S34 for displaying in combination the degree of inclination of the vehicle with respect to the estimated target parking position on the image.
