A centrifugal separator (1), particularly for dis-entrainment of oil aerosol from internal combustion engine crankcase breather gas, comprises a working chamber (5) rotated via a shaft (3) and having an aerosol inlet (7) and dry gas outlet (10), and is fitted with a pre-separator (12), which rotates with the main separator, has radial vanes (13), and labyrinth connection with chamber (5).
