The railing element is installed in a recess in the tread element and the wedge element is installed inside the recess. The wedge element may be installed inside a recess in a connecting element (13) which is coupled to the tread element. The wedge element is fastened to the tread element or connecting element by means of a tensioning means such as a screw.</p>
