<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of outputting print image data to a printer in order to print a desired image under desired print specifications (the number of print sheets, print paper size, print colors). <P>SOLUTION: In a digital camera 100, a photographed image 31 is displayed on a liquid crystal display to select a desired image; and the print specifications such as the number of print sheets, a print paper size, and a print colors are designated to create print image data. The created print image data are transmitted from the digital camera 100 to the color printer of an output device.
