摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve response at a time of lock-up on or lock-up off and reduce drag torque between friction plates at a time of lock-up off in a lock-up device including three friction surfaces. <P>SOLUTION: A lock-up device 5 is provided with a damper mechanism 7, a plate 56, a plate 57, a piston 51. The damper mechanism 7 includes a plate 52 rotating as one unit with a turbine 10 and plates 53, 54 rotatable relatively to the plate 52 and an elastic member 55. The plate 56 includes an inclined elastic part 82 which has a cone shape and can be elastically deformed in an axial direction and is fixed on the plates 53, 54. The plate 57 is provided not rotatably in relation to a front cover 2 and movably in an axial direction and is arranged in a turbine side of the inclined elastic part 82.
