<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality aromatic polycarbonate or a polymer alloy containing the same which is recovered from molded articles and can be stably molded at a low cost without causing failures relating to surface properties such as surface defect, external appearance failure, and adhesion failure in fabrication, and its molding method, and to provide a molding method of these polymers. <P>SOLUTION: The aromatic polycarbonate or the polymer alloy containing the same is obtained by incorporating a branched aromatic polycarbonate into an aromatic polycarbonate or its alloy recovered from molded articles and adjusting the melt relaxation time of the resulting mixed aromatic polycarbonate (polymer alloy) to≥0.7 times the melt relaxation time of the aromatic polycarbonate of the initial raw material or to≥1.05 times the melt relaxation time of the recovered polycarbonate (polymer alloy), and the molding method comprises molding the above aromatic polycarbonate or the polymer alloy.
