<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal projector which suppresses heat generation and is made small-sized while enhance the luminance. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal projector is equipped with light sources 2a to 2c, a liquid crystal panel which modules light beams from the light sources 2a to 2c, and a projection lens which projects the light beams modulated by the liquid crystal panel.
