<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine provided with variation display performance with unexpectedness, reliability and clearness. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with: a separating, generating and displaying control part 440 which respectively generates separation identification information being the prescribed first pattern of a mode showing a part of the first pattern and lack identification information being the first pattern of a mode showing the lack of the separation identification information by separating a part of a prescribed first pattern in the case of deciding forming of a separation condition and which displays each of them on a first pattern display device 42 as the same kind of one first pattern; and a variation stoppage display control part 450 which replaces the separation identification information with a first pattern before separation being the prescribed first pattern and vary-stop-displays it in a stop area other than the stoppage area of the vary-stopped lack identification information. Thus, expecting feeling of a player is improved and unexpected and unique variation display performance is realized.
