PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method and an image processing program for easily acquiring synthesis image, corresponding to a manuscript image, in a short time from two or more split images, which was obtained by reading one sheet of manuscript. SOLUTION: The image processing device 1 includes a multiplex resolution image generating unit 40 for forming shrinkage images with two or more different resolutions from image data entered from an image input unit 2, such as a scanner; a feature point sampling unit 41 for sampling feature points, such as a cross point, where a lengthwise line and a sidewise line cross with each other, and T-shaped intersection in a prescribed region of each image data among two or more image data generated by the multiplex resolution image generating unit 40; a position determination processing unit 42 for extracting data, such as coordinates in relation to each feature point, and determining whether they can be jointed, based on the positional relation of the feature points and the like in two or more image data to be jointed; and a joint processing unit 43 for piling at an image edge, having a feature point part corresponding to the image including the feature point and generating the image data equal to the manuscript image.
