PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual toner collecting device for an image forming apparatus by which production of aggregated toner by a belt for collecting residual toner is prevented. SOLUTION: The whole of a fin 12 of a toner recycle belt 11 is formed like a dogleg by bending the fin 12 at a line perpendicular to the toner recycle belt 11. The fin 12 works so as to collect toner on both sides of the fin to the center of the toner recycle belt 11 when the residual toner is fed to a developer agitation part since the tip part of the fin 12 is formed like the dogleg. The residual toner to be conveyed hardly goes outside the recycle belt 11 and occurrence of aggregation by stay and compression of the toner is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
