PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile electronic equipment system capable of improving availability with a reduced circuit scale and a simplified module reconfiguration, by simplifying signal line wiring for identifying a fault point. SOLUTION: In the versatile electronic equipment system, function executors in modules 2 are connected with signal lines, and the function executors between the modules 2 are transversally connected so as to connect the entire function executors in a matrix shape with the signal lines, and the signal lines of matrix shape are monitored by a host 1. With this, a fault point can be detected without complicating signal line allocation, and further, by displaying a replaceable function executor, reconfiguration of the module structure can be attained.
