PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent delay of proper treatment due to failure in receipt of event notification even if an operator, a manager, or a maintenance engineer is absent when an event generated in an information processing device is notified to the operator, the manager, or the maintenance engineer connected via a communication network. SOLUTION: This information processing device is provided with an event analysis means 6 detecting and analyzing the event generated in the information processing device, an event notification means 10 creating a message based on the analysis result and notifying it, an event notification address storage means 19 storing an address and priority of event notification, an event notification address decision means 17 deciding an event notification address based on the event notification address and the priority, a response message analysis means 14 receiving a response message from a computer or a communication terminal and analyzing it, and an event processing monitoring means 7 monitoring whether the event processing is finished and the event is released or not.
