PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically describe necessary dimension lines on a two-dimensional drawing at the time of generating the two-dimensional drawing from a three-dimensional model. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional model is generated by a product specification deciding means 10, and the three-dimensional model and its attribute value are stored so as to be linked to each other, and when a designated drawing frame is extracted from a drawing frame database 18 by an automatic drawing generation means 24, the three-dimensional model is projected on the extracted drawing frame, and a two-dimensional projection drawing is generated. Then, dimension elements corresponding to the shape of the two-dimensional projection drawing are extracted from a dimension database 16, and deformed according to the attribute value of the product, and the necessary dimension line elements 28 and the two-dimensional projection drawing are synthesized by an automatic drawing generation means 26, and the synthesized two-dimensional projection drawing is outputted from a drawing presenting means 26 as a drawing 30.
