PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for acquiring an image collection on a website and allowing members of a group to post comments while browsing images and to collect the image collection along with the comments. SOLUTION: This web application system includes a means 104 for automatically creating a list of image file names by searching for a group of image files uploaded into a predetermined area on a server by a user who manages a website; an image list editing means 110 for editing a web page including a list of images based on the list of image file names created, with a comment area 203 attached to each image in the list of images, and for causing a browser to display the web page; a text input/editing means 112 for letting a user who browses the list of images write or correct text in the comment area 203 displayed by the browser; and a text storage means 107 for causing the text inputted and edited by the text input/editing means 112 to be stored in a predetermined area on the server as a text file.
