PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a specimen collection operation and enable an uniform management of specimen information to be carried out easily. SOLUTION: An apparatus for managing the specimen information is provided, which has a server 100 comprising: a receiving section 301; a transmitting section 302; a control section 303; a data management section 304; and a DB 308. The data management section 304 comprises: a register section 305; a retrieving section 306; and a data binding section 307. The data binding section 307 relates received blood collected tube ID information D3 with patient ID information D1 and test information D2 being previously stored in the DB 308.
