PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle which prevents excessive cooling or heating of an air conditioning unit for seats in a stable state without carrying out complicated control. SOLUTION: A controller calculates a target blowoff temperature TAO for the inside of a vehicle room at step 120. At step 140, the controller calculates a seat target blowoff temperature TAOseat on the basis of a formula that is so determined that the greater the difference between the target blowoff temperature TAO and a set temperature Tset is, the greater the target blowoff temperature TAO reflected on the seat target blowoff temperature TAOseat is, compared with the case where the difference between the target blowoff temperature TAO and a set temperature Tset is small.
