PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue control using a speed checking pattern, even if train position information concerned is lost. SOLUTION: A predetermined speed checking pattern is produced by an on-vehicle device mounted on a train, on the basis of predetermined information obtained from a ground side at all times and the train position information concerned grasped by a train concerned. In the train control device controlling a train by using the produced speed checking pattern, a controlling means is provided, which carries out train control while positioning a forefront position of the train concerned at a boarder between a present track circuit and the next track circuit, when the train position information concerned is lost.
