PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work of forming cuts in a covered tube. SOLUTION: The subject cutting tool 1 is used by installing a cutting knife 3 which has a serrate blade 2 for forming the cuts in a protective layer 23 and a foam layer 22 of the coated tube 20; and is provided with a knife clamping part 4 clamping a part of an upper half side of the cutting knife 3, supporting/fixing parts 5 (5A and 5B) provided in the both end sides of the knife clamping part 4, respectively, and supportingly fixing the cutting knife 3 clamped by the knife clamping part 4, and a cutting stopper part 6 provided between the supporting/fixing parts 5A and 5B, provided in an upper side position from the serrate blade 2 of the cutting knife 3 supportingly fixed by the support/fixing parts 5 by a predetermined cutting depth H and regulating the cutting depth.
