PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine keeping a player from being bored by changing over from reels variably and stationarily displaying symbols to other reels and diversifying a game property. SOLUTION: This game machine is so constituted that, when the symbols of BB are stationarily displayed in a ready-to-win condition on an effective winning line, either of retaining plates 115, 116 or 117 attached with the reels variably and stationarily displaying the symbols on a symbol display area where symbols other than the BB symbols are stationarily displayed, is normally or reversely rotated by 90°to change over from the present reels displaying the symbols on the symbol display area to the other reels.
