PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drying device with sufficient strengths and to be easily assembled. SOLUTION: Side plates 18 and 18 on both sides of a casing 4 of a support body 1 project forward from an upper plate 19 and a base plate 20, and an outer stopper part 21 is disposed in the front to project inward. A lock part 7 is disposed in the front end of the base plate 20, and a receiving part 6 is disposed at the upper end of the outer stopper part 21. An arm rod 2 has a projection thread 10 along the peripheral edge except for an insertion part 26. The projection thread part 10 consists of an upper projection thread part 10a and a lower projection thread part 10b connected by a connection projection thread part 10c. The arm rod 2 also has engagement parts 12 and 13, and a hook part 11 and an anti-loosening part 14 at the rear end of the upper projection thread part 10a. The arm rod 2 is attached to the support body 1 by inserting the insertion part 26 of the arm rod 2 between the side plates 18 and 18 of the casing 4 from below, locating a stopper attaching hole 17 above the upper plate 19 via the connection projection thread part 10c and the upper projection thread part 10a, and fixing a pair of front and rear stoppers 16 to the stopper attaching hole 17.
