The elastomer bearing comprises a spring body connected to a metal plate (3,4) at each end, forming a hollow chamber. The bearing has a parallel connected electrically and/or electronically controlled friction damper (7). The spring body is hollow cylindrical with the friction damper located inside the chamber and connected to the two metal plates. The friction damper consists of two elements (8,9) each connected to an end plate, whereby when electrical energy is applied between the friction elements a friction pair is activated. |
