The invention relates to methods of managing a man/machine interface in a cartographic system that is at least partially located on-board an aircraft. Said interface links a designator and an aircraft screen and provides a connection between a user of the designator and a cartographic system containing tree-structured information comprising several levels (N0, N-1, N-2, N-3, N-4) by simultaneously displaying only one part of said information on the screen. In order to pass from one level to another as the user moves through the tree structure, a button of the designator must be pressed and then released. The invention is suitable for civil and military aircraft. |
