The fluoropolymer resin coated member (1) comprise a foundation (10) and a fluoropolymer resin layer (20) formed thereon, the foundation (10) having a surface roughness of 2 to 10 degree in Root-mean-square slope of profile, the amount of the fluoropolymer resin of the fluoropolymer resin layer (20) being 0.5-8.5 g/m 2 , and the surface roughness of the fluoropolymer resin layer being 5 degree or less in Root-mean-square slope of profile ”q2. The metal mold for forming polyester resin container can be reproduced in such a manner that amorphous fluoropolymer resin layer 20 applied on the hard surface of foundation 10 of the metal mold for forming polyester resin container is removed by abrasive to obtain mirror finish, then a new amorphous fluoropolymer resin layer 20 is applied on the surface of foundation 10.
