The outer tank (1) of the machine is moulded from a suitable plastic material with stiffening ribs (3) and reinforced rear wall (2) having the bearing housing (4) and electric motor mounting details (5) on the outer wall. Water leakage is deflected into safe areas by additional ribs (9,10,11).
