<p>The regulator has a damping abutment (38) disposed in a regulator housing. The abutment is engaged by an actuating shaft (22) in an open position of the regulator for damping vibrations of the regulator mechanism by frictional contact between the actuating shaft and the abutment. The actuating shaft, in the closed position of the regulator, is spaced a predetermined distance from the damping abutment to free therefrom.</p> |
