A ball comprising a plurality of panels 2,3 joined together to form a generally prolate spheroid shape, the panels configured such that there is either a single seam (12,fig.6) at each axial end 4 or the axial end is covered by a single panel (2a,2b). Preferably the panels are connected by stitching. Optionally the panels may form an outer shell or skin which contains a bladder. The panels may comprise an aperture for receiving a valve from a bladder. |
