<p>An improved design nipple for fitting to the end of a hose has a nipple end (6) to press into the hose and a shank (7) with a surface relief to increase the grip between the inside of the hose and the shank. The surface relief can be of any suitable shape, e.g. cross grooves, with raised pointed ridges between the grooves for additional grip. The nipple can be made of metal or plastic and is fitted into the hose by a simple press action.</p> |
