BEARING HOLDING STRUCTURE FOR MOTOR

A bearing holding structure of a motor capable of holding a bearing (16) on a molded rotor (12) through a metal member (22) formed integrally with the rotor (12). A washer (24) is fixed to the metal member and the rotating part of the bearing is held by the washer to increase the bearing holding performance and the durability of the metal member. A stopper plate (21) limiting the movement of a motor output shaft may be utilized as the metal member (22) to increase the bearing holding performance and the durability of the metal member without increasing the number of parts. The metal member (22) can be securely held by forming the base end part of the metal member (22) integrally with the rotor (12) by molding.
